"Pray as if everything depended on G-d and work as if everything depended on you."
Tzedaka is the Hebrew word for the deeds which we usually call charity: giving help or money to the poor or needy. It has the same root as the word tzedek: justice, rectitude.
In our community, help to the needy is an act of repair so that every human being has the minimum necessary to cover his physical and spiritual needs.
If we unite our efforts, more help will reach more people and we will be making a contribution towards making our world more just.
We would invite you to be part of this task either through economic help or voluntary work.
Here are some of the projects we carry out:
• Monthly deliveries of food and clothing
• Subsidies
• School scholarships
• Visits to the Old Age Home Ledor VaDor
• Breakfasts for the needy
• Activities for seniors
• Workshops
• Training
